My name is Sarah with my lovely husband, and our youngest son we moved to our longed for small holding in August 2009. Along with us we brought our 2 endearing Westies Millie and Daisy, 2 friendly farm cats Shadow and Mittens and an array of happy chickens that live in the orchard. We make our own bread, yogurt, chutneys, and jams; we also grow our own fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Family life is very important to us, having 4 children that are all grown up now. We have 1 girl and 3 boys (Goldilocks and the 3 bears) who we are very proud of and 6 adorable grandchildren, 3 boys and 3 girls, 2 being a boy and girl set of twins. This is our journey in words and pictures of the ups and downs, the dream path we took to the good life which at times is physically the hard life. We are not experts, but gaining more experience and knowledge in the learning curve with lots more to discover. We are mostly enjoying the challenges that it brings and also hope you enjoy reading how we are trying to succeed and achieve it.
